PE with Mr Osborne!
Hi everyone!
I hope you're all keeping safe and well at home with your families during this lockdown period.
To keep you all entertained and active while we're not in school, I'm going to be doing a PE class via video every day which you can do at home.
I hope you enjoy them!
Mr Osborne
You can view all of our PE with Mr Osborne videos here. You can also view the instructions by clicking on the pdf at the bottom of this page.
Here are some links to some additional opportunities to be physically active while at home. Have a go at them, especially the Virtual School Games and Joy of Moving Festival.
Northamptonshire Virtual School Sport Games
Starting on Monday 4th May, all pupils in schools across the county will be able to take part in Northamptonshire Sports Showcase sports events. Starting on Monday 4th May there will be a 9 week activity programme, culminating in a countywide Summer School Games Day on Thursday 9th July.
Each week the programme contains weekly sports challenges, coaching tips, printable sports puzzles and family problem solving activities, all which can be completed in the comfort of your own home with little or no specific sports equipment.
Video content and resources will be uploaded daily via the Northamptonshire Sport twitter page (@Nsport) and website (www.northamptonshiresport.org). Viewers will be encouraged to try out the activities at home and share photos and videos of how they get on with a compilation Skills Showcase shared on a Friday afternoon.
The first sport of the Northamptonshire Virtual School Games is Dodgeball with the first set of challenges launched at 10am on Monday 4th July.

Joy of Moving Festival 18th to 22nd May 2020
Northampton Town Football club in partnership with English Football League Trust (EFL) are delivering a national intiative called the Joy of Moving Home School Festival.
We will be part of one of the biggest ever national initiatives of its kind alongside thousands of other children taking part.
The Festival consists of a half day (afternoon) timetable of activities for children in Key Stage 2 on the theme of the Joy of Moving. This will be available in a digital pack to send to parents either by email or by post (if you are able to print hard copies for families without access to IT).
The Joy of Moving games and activities are designed to inspire active lifestyles in children, aiming to teach children how to enjoy moving through play, and to help them develop positive habits for adulthood.
The Joy of Moving programme is funded by Ferrero UK.
How it works:
1. Activities will take place from 18th – 22nd May
2. You participate by using the resources we provide you digitally or by post
