Following a visit from Northampton Litter Wombles, our Junior Leadership Team agreed to create a Litter Wombles team here at Stimpson Avenue Academy.
On Tuesday morning, Ryan, Shelo, Arisha and Deborah completed a tidy up of Percy Road. By 8.45am, the four pupils had filled two bags of rubbish and were shocked to see so many sweet and cake wrappers dumped outside of school. One crisp packet was found and, as all four pupils know, this will take 80 years to decompose.
The Litter Wombles plan to give Adnitt Road a polish as their next project.
All four are an example to the rest of Stimpson Avenue in how to take care of our environment. Well done!
